Current behavior of commands "Copy to" and "Move to" is such that when you select "Recent" as destination Thunderbird displays names of recently used directories. What is strange "recently used directory" means in fact "directory used as target of move or copy operation disregarding what kind of operation had been used": manual (what is expected) or automatic (as result of filtering action of Thunderbird, executed in the background). The second case has no sense at all: if there is a filter it is rather improbable that user may want to select manually destination used in the filter. Even more, if there is a number of filters in regular use, there is very low chance, that "Recent" list contains *any* manually selected directory. Thus it seems reasonable to use destination directories *used only in manual move/copy operations* to create/update "recent" list. witrak()
