And its a TB issue, not Windows. I cant find this problem on the web, and it doesn't happen to me (although I'm less experienced with TB). This really appears to be a Windows problem since defragmenting is a Windows specific issue. Windows is probably causing data loss (modifying registry settings) while defragmenting. I also don't understand why do you consider this to be a wishlist.
