A new codec for avifile

Hi, 
 
I am trying to play an avi file with aviplay but I get this message:  
 
<codec keeper> : CreateVideoDecoder(): Unknown codec 0x32323459 = 
\"Y422\" 
 
I have the dll files for this codec, but I don\'t know if I can use a different codec of 
those that aviplay normally use.   
 
Is it possible to use a new one? What would I have to do?
