Why won't avicap listen to /dev/video0?

Hi,

Avicap still refuses to take any other video source then
/dev/video. This devices is no longer in use, currently the /dev/videoX
scheme is the way to go. Whenever I try to modify this in avicap it will
always revert back to /dev/video. Any solutions to this?
