Hmm looks like Suse still has not learned how to handle dependencies properly.
I assume  Slang library is probably needed by SDL library - so you
will probably have to install slang-devel packages (not sure about
the name - but it should have -dev in it's name) - eventually
constalt with some more experience Suse user
