I am wanting to record video and audio but I don't have a sound card that works in my Linux system. My TV capture card has the ability to record audio and video with the windoze software that came with it but I don't want to use windoze, that's illegal. So I am hoping there is some way to use the bttv soundcore device in the TV capture card instead? Is that possible? I see it in lsmod but not in my /dev/ directory. Is there anyway to gain access to the bttv soundcore device for audio capture without a sound card? Roy Souther Open Support Guild Bringing Open concepts to IT support www.OsGuild.com
