Spumux/dvdauthor only recognizes up to 12 butons in NTSC menus

Greetings, 

I noticed this problem with a freshly-built dvdauthor0.6.14 .

To be more specific, I have been trying for the past few days to convert some menus I had made for a PAL DVD to an NTSC DVD. Everything builds and runs fine, except from the 'Subtitles' subpage which contains normally 16 buttons. Unfortunately, spumux/dvdauthor only recognizes up to 12 buttons. 

I have to add that when making the disk with 'spumux menu.xml < video.mpg > menuvideo.mpg' and dvdauthor, I didn't have any error messages!

Any clues?
