Request for use libass for ssa and ass subtitles format

Hi, I was wondering if it could be really complicated to implement the
use of the libass (http://code.google.com/p/libass/) library for the
spumux application since it could allow the creation of better
subtitles (like for example variable positioning).

I'm experimenting a little with it (it has a test.c example code) to
see if I can implement this feature but looking at the code for spumux
I don't know if I'm going to be able because I just trying to
understand every piece of it :-)
