Don't know about the segfault, but it looks the video isn't an MPEG-2
video suitable for DVD. Looks to me like dvdauthor ran through the 
entire video without finding a VOBU and, rather than giving up, tried 
to use a pointer to a non-existent VOBU.

You need to figure out how to get your video in the proper format.
