First of all, it should spit out errors, and should not crash. Are you
able to send me a sample that demonstrates the problem, so I can see why
it crashes?

In any case, I don’t think this file is in the right format for
DVD-Video. How did you create it?

I think that version of dvdauthor requires you to specify -o before -x.

Are you able to build the new 0.7.0 version from source and try that?
