Mnemonics in dvdauthor

Will dvdauthor ever support mnemonics into its xml config file?
I mean, I feel more comfortable writing:

   next_button=2k;
   if (movie_lang==0) call menu entry root;
   if (subs_flag==0) s2=0;

than:

   g3=2k;
   if (g0==0) call menu entry root;
   if (g1==0) s2=0;

Does this require features from libxml2? What do you think about this?
Note this was sended to `users' ml since I have no idea how this can be implemented, so we can call 
this a `feature request'.
