problems with dvdauthor-0.7.0 and k9copy-2.3.6

If I try and use dvdauthor-0.7.0 with k9copy-2.3.6, I cannot copy disks 
with no menu.  But if I use 0.6.18 it works just fine.  Any clue where 
the problem lies?
