I'm going to build Ogle

I see in the homepage dvdauthor.sf.net Ogle is suggested as still being today the most reliable 
software you can count on when checking a dvd structure, so I want to give it a try.
Are there already packed binaries?
Didn't found anything for lucid lynx, so I'm going to build it by myself.
The latest version was released on 2003-11-06 (as reported at 
http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/groups/dvd/news.shtml), I just downloaded both ogle-0.9.2 and 
ogle-gui-0.9.2 and now the first issue is that configure doesn't properly detect alsa, it says I 
still have alsa 0.5.x
I can figure out there will be other of these warnings, due to the age of this software, not to 
mention some issue related to newest gcc 4.x, so many fixes may be needed. Did some user create a 
patch for these?
Am I doing right? Can someone point me to a reasonable way to build ogle?
