I’m not sure. There’s no official public spec we can refer to. I’ve
started collecting all the information I’m aware of into this Wikibook
<http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Inside_DVD-Video>, but that’s a work in
progress.

Does it give a reference for that? I assume it’s probably correct. :)

Don’t know. The only way to be sure is to try.

Sorry, my fault for including your full address in my reply. I’ve
changed my default settings not to do that in future. SourceForge does
munge header addresses a bit when displaying the archives on its web
pages, but it doesn’t seem to do that to message bodies the way, say,
Google Groups does. :)

I can’t find any way to edit or delete messages from the archive. Is
this a big problem, do you think? I thought Gmail had good spam
filters. :)
