OK, maybe I’ll keep them for now. But I haven’t been adding any
enhancements to them.

This doesn’t really have anything to do with GUIfication, it’s just
about the best way to drive the DVDAuthor tools. Only XML gives you
access to the full range of options.

So do I. But when the command lines get long and complicated, that’s
when I start to look at putting them into a script. And once you start
putting things in a file, why not an XML control file where the options
are proper words, rather than a script file with single-character
command options?

    dvdauthor -x ctlfile -O outdir

?
