On its own it’s not enough to demonstrate a bug—read on for why. There is a peculiarity about the way DVD-Video is structured: the VOB file contains the video, audio and subpicture streams, but the definitions of the colours used in the subpictures are in the IFO file. IFO files are read by dvdunauthor. This generates .vob files that contain the colour-table information in a DVDAuthor-specific format (hidden inside a “padding” stream). spuunmux can read this format to generate PNG files with the right colours. So basically you shouldn’t use spuunmux directly on the .VOB files off the DVD, you should put them through dvdunauthor first. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity and more.
