Thank goodness for that. :)

Though personally I think a simpler, less potentially troublesome
feature would be for the player to simply ignore the prohibitions
against skipping the ads, don’t you think?

(Though I’m surprised a player with either of these features could get
official DVD-Video certification.)

No idea, really. Remember, none of us have seen any official DVD-Video
specs, we’re all going by guesswork and the efforts of the intrepid
reverse-engineers.

My only guide is to go by what the consumer players will accept.
