	Hi;

	I would suspect that fewer people are downloading dvdauthor
directly, because they are less likely to be direct users. Rather
they are using higher level programs that are more commonly included
in distributions, with dvdauthor as a dependancy they may not even
be aware of, obtained from binary mirror sources.
	Therefor, a better metric of dvdauthors relevance is probably
the number of these higher level programs. I count around two dozen
such programs in the Gentoo collection.

ps. I could think a few main reasons my creation of video dvds
has markedly decreased in recent years; cheap capable network
streaming media players, the ubiquity of HD content, and cheap
obscene amounts of hard disk storage... I still occasionally make
dvds in order to ship others though.
