Hi Joo,

On Debian Wheezy, that line produces the usual 5 files but they still have
the same format/encoding:

$ mediainfo * | egrep "name|aspect|Standard"
Complete name                            : VIDEO_TS.BUP
Display aspect ratio                     : 4:3
Standard                                 : NTSC
Complete name                            : VIDEO_TS.IFO
Display aspect ratio                     : 4:3
Standard                                 : NTSC
Complete name                            : VTS_01_0.BUP
Display aspect ratio                     : 16:9
Standard                                 : PAL
Complete name                            : VTS_01_0.IFO
Display aspect ratio                     : 16:9
Standard                                 : PAL
Complete name                            : VTS_01_1.VOB
Display aspect ratio                     : 16:9
Standard                                 : PAL

I should probably also add that my dvdauthor source file is a pal video clip
too:

$ mediainfo video.mpg | egrep "name|aspect|Standard"
Complete name                            : video.mpg
Display aspect ratio                     : 16:9
Standard                                 : PAL

Thank you for trying to help debug/understand this.

With kind regards, Jaime
