Someone on the list with a Canon PowerShot G7X mark iii ? Could you make a log to check the capabilities?

Dear all,

I am encountering a few annoying issues with my Canon PowerShot G7X mark 
ii and I would like to check if these are also present with the mark 
iii. Is there someone with such camera and wants to create a log file 
for inspection of the capabilities? I would appreciate that :-)

The issues I encounter with the mark ii which could be resolved by the 
mark iii are:

  * The mark ii cannot be powered via usb and needs to be powered via a
    fake battery. When doing so you always need to use the menu to
    confirm and proceed. This is practically unworkable when using the
    camera in an environment where you don't have access. The mark iii
    should be powered via the USB-C - is that confirmed when used with
    libgphoto2?
  * The mark ii goes to sleep when you don't touch a button - any button
    - when using via libphoto2. I am trying to make it work with a 3D
    printed part but it is kind of clumsy. Does the mark iii have the
    option KeepDeviceOn?

I don't need to use a Canon per se but it seems like a very nice form 
factor with good capabilities. If someone has a good suggestion, please 
share.
