Canon 77D

I seem to be able to detect this camera without any problem and set
the parameters I care to set.  However, I don't seem to be able to
take a photo.  I don't care about downloading any of the images I just
want them to say on the card on the camera.  When I trigger with :

gphoto2 --set-config eosremoterelease="Press Full"
or
gphoto2 --set-config eosremoterelease=Immediate

the camera crashes with Error 70 on the camera screen.
gphoto2 --capture-image

Does not seems to do anything.

Any tips?
