Re: Getting an old Canon A520 to work with Gphoto

Quite possibly.  Other than a sticky lens cover the rest of the camera
seems functional.  Maybe I'll give it a relative and start over.
After all it was only $15.

Starting at the cheap end of (used) Canons which Gphoto supports, from
my last cruise through the listing the S70 looked good.  The S90 can
do raws but in https://sourceforge.net/p/gphoto/mailman/gphoto-user/?viewmonth=201101&page=2
it says:
"Btw., --capture-image is not possible with the S90, Canon stopped
having this feature in their newer cameras."

Anybody know of a cheap camera that does raws and also Gphoto can do
at least remote captures on?  I really dislike PTP.  I know there are
some cameras that can do PTP mode or not, some Canons I think.  My
Coolpix P520 would be a lot more useful without it.
