You mean it can get them without having to extract from the JPEG?
Then i could just take a regular file when something happens?

I'm getting about 6 frames/second on a Raspberry Pi and I'm putting
them into a circular buffer and averaging to have a moving average as
a baseline.  CPU usage is down around 15%.  Still many problems but I
only wrote it yesterday.  Red pictures because I'm only writing to the
red channel somewhere.  Not trying to focus yet.  Just having fun.
