Hi guys, pls suggest me how to do the stuff properly on Canon 450D. On Nikon D5100-5300 I can use *set-config autofocusdrive 1*** to trigger autofocus procedure and *set-config focusmode2 0* to turn autofocus off after that. After the capturing photos w/o autofocus I can switch back by *set-config focusmode2 4 * So, I need the same for my 450D as well. Surprisingly *set-config autofocusdrive 1* does nothing on this model and *focusmode2* setting is absent. I played with *focusmode* then which initially containes 3 possible values only: *>get-config focusmode* Label: Focus Mode Type: RADIO Current: One Shot Choice: 0 One Shot Choice: 1 AI Focus Choice: 2 AI Servo But when I set "Manual" there it appears as 4th and does what I need, turns autofocus off: *>set-config focusmode Manual* > *get-config focusmode* Label: Focus Mode Type: RADIO Current: Manual Choice: 0 One Shot Choice: 1 AI Focus Choice: 2 AI Servo Choice: 3 Manual But after that I can switch back to autofocus by manual reset HW swith "AF/MF" on lens only. So this trick doesn't work for me as i need turn on and off autofocus several times during a session. Could you pls suggest me how to operate properly to achieve remote control on my 450D in viewfinder=0 mode?
