Re: Nikon cameras?

PTP is a protocol dreamed up by Microsoft, I think, in many cameras it
doesn't even trigger the shutter.  It's for transferring pictures off the
camera.  Coolpixes are Nikon's cheap line but often more advanced in odd
ways than DSLRs.  I've had a few, I've got a P520 now.  No remote control
except a WiFi thing which trips the shutter.  There's a company called I
think "Control My Nikon" they might have something.
