Hi,

I am trying to run gphoto2 with a Sony DSC HX50 in MTP mode. This camera is
not on the list of supported cameras, but I started the experiments
nevertheless.

Here are some problems, which I noticed:
1.) The lenses are retracted when the camera is connected via USB to a
computer, even when MTP mode is selected.

2.) When I try to command the camera it switched off respectively into
charge mode. For example
"gphoto2 --list-files" gives a list of images on the card, but after this
the camera goes into charge mode.

Is it planned to support also this camera? Do you know perhaps a work
around to these problems?
