Resolution in liveview for DSLR cameras?

Hi! I wanted to get a decent live feed from a DSLR via USB and have tried a Canon EOS 550D and a Nikon D7100. The 550D gives me an almost acceptable 1056x704 at 26-30 fps and the D7100 a mere 640x426 at 24 fps. Are there any lists showing the resolution and frame rate one can expect from different cameras? Ideally, I would like to get full HD at 30 fpm but I guess DSLRs aren't designed for that. I know some DSLRs have a clean HDMI out, but feeding a few USB cameras to OBS is a lot simpler than having to go via HDMI using multiple HDMI to USB converters.I'm currently experimenting with OBS in Linux (Debian) and I got the 550D and the D7100 working simultaneously, which is good. Now, I would like to get the best "cheapish" camera that can feed OSB with a decent video stream. So the trick is to get 2-3 used cameras that are as cheap as possible but still provides something (at least slightly) better than the 1056x704 the 550D can do. Even the 550 is a lot better than most USB HD webcams due to better lenses and picture quality. One major benefit I see with DSLRs is the possibility to use different lenses and possibly zoom lenses. The project is for live streaming a stage.
