It seems to have massive delays during USB device access of some USB devices
on the system.

Is something like USBguard running or are there hardware troubles?

Are Hubs or other devices involved that auto-powerdown?

Can you go through your plugged in USB devices / hubs, unplug them temporary,
test gphoto2, and pinpoint the ones causing delays?

Thanks! :)

Ciao, Marcus
