Does anyone know when Sony a6100 will be added to gphoto2

Hi,

I am using gphoto2 successfully in a camera station to monitor the sky.
Now I have the new Sony alpha 6100 camera but it is still unsupported by
gphoto2. Does anyone know when this camera will be added? Or is there
any way to modify gphoto myself? I thought there could be no large
difference to the other Sony-APS-C cameras...
