Canon SX150 IS not working as webcam

Hello,

I have a Canon Powershot SX150 IS. I cannot get it to work as a webcam
using gphoto2 though it is on the supported list. i tried connecting using
the steps mentioned in the page http://www.gphoto.org/doc/remote/

While connecting it via gphoto, i got the following errors
"Sorry, your Canon camera does not support Canon Viewfinder mode:"

Please guide me in fixing this error.
