Re: [Sony RX100 VII] Camera does not seem to return a JPEG image in LiveView mode

If you installed from your package system (like Debian/Ubuntu debs)
just uninstall it.  You can always put it back with a few clicks.
Learn to build from sources, it's a very worthwhile skill to
cultivate.  Prepackaged stuff is usually quite old by the time it's
been packaged then tested for a year or so.  In cases where nothing
depends on it (it's a leaf node) you're free to remove it.
