M50 Mark II

I see that the Canon M50 is listed as being supported by gphoto. 
Can anyone confirm if the newer M50 Mark II is also supported and with the same functions? 
I am planning to buy the Mark II but only if it works with gphoto, otherwise I will look for a used M50.
