Support for Fujifilm X-S10 vs X-T4

Hello,
I emailed you a few weeks ago with questions regarding a different camera.
I am sorry to bother you again.
After much consideration I am now inclined to buy a Fujifilm X-S10 or a
Fujifilm X-T4.
I like the smaller form factor of the X-S10, but I have seen that the X-T4
has more supported features (X-S10: Liveview  --vs.--  X-T4: Image Capture,
Liveview, Configuration).
I read that recently the Fujifilm SDK added support to the X-S10 with
updated firmware (https://fujifilm-x.com/global/special/camera-control-sdk/
).
Therefore I would like to ask if a similar level of support could be
achieved for the X-S10 (in particular support for Image Capture and
Configuration, and, possibly, other remote control features).
I have some linux/programming experience and I would gladly contribute in
any way I can.

I am very grateful for any information you could give me and for all the
amazing work which goes into gphoto.
