What I haven't figured out is how to trigger a movie recording where the video is at full res for the camera and the data just stays on the camera to be downloaded later. Is this possible? My camera is a Canon Rebel T7 / 1500D. gphoto2 --capture-image gives me a photo at 6000x4000 gphoto2 --capture-movie gives me a mjpg file on the computer with a resolution of 1024x576 Capturing a movie using the camera's controls and downloading it after it's done gives me a MOV file with a resolution of 1920x1080 Is it possible to just trigger the recording of 1920x1080 and leave it on the camera?
