You have to tell Grip where to put your files. Open Grip and click on 
the "Config" tab and then the "Encode" tab. You specify your filenames 
in the "Encode file format" box. You can specify a specific filename but 
then every track will overwrite the previous one. There are some codes 
you can use so that Grip can create unique filenames for you. For 
example, my "encode file format" is:

/public/musiclib/%A/%d/%n.mp3

The %A, %d, and %n are codes telling Grip that files go into the 
/public/musiclib directory with further directories defined by %A 
(Artist Name), %d (name of disk), and %n (name of track). You can find 
the definitions of the Configuration (%) switches in the help. Click on 
the Grip "Help" tab, then click the "Configuring Grip" button, then 
scroll down until you see a link titled:

"the section called “Configuration (%) switches”

Click on that and you will see a lot of % switches so have fun. Good luck.
