WAV-files made with GRIP are corrupted, give bad sound as if sound is 'hussled'. De tracks are not broken as the WAV-files are of normal length (40 MB etc.). Of course encoding the WAV give the same bas results. For reading the CDs I am using a NEC 1300 DVD burner with ide-scsi emulation on a Fedora core 3 system. As root as that's the only way I get GRIP to recognize the DVD burner as input and see the tracks (I think because of the protected status of the ide-scsi emulation in the kernel). Anyone got ideas?
