Importing/overriding DiscDb entries

I was trying to rip a copy of a CD I own, called 1 Giant Leap.
Grip did a succesful freedb.org lookup on the original, but not
the copy, apparently because the DiskID of the copy was different
than the original.

I could not find a way to tell grip that the album data I 
want was located under DISCID=93108b0c, not the DiskID of the copy that 
was in the CD-ROM drive. Is there no way to do this, or did I just not
look hard enough?

My solution was to download the database file of the original from 
freedb.org to  ~/.cddb directory, then change the name of it to the 
DiskID of the copy in the cd-rom drive (obtained from the status Pane 
while manually requesting a query), and restart grip.
This worked. 

I would love to see this go into the Documentation for grip, or,
if there are no  philosophical objections, the addition of a DISCID
text box to the Disk Editor pane would be excellent. 

Ive been using grip for years, and its been great watching it evolve!
