Hmm - what about <http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2004-Aug/3709.html>? They recommend to remove the gtk-devel and glib-devel packages, because there might be two versions of glibconfig.h, and your gcc chooses the older one. Maybe it's enough to export C_INCLUDE_PATH=/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include before configure, or maybe there's even a --with-glib-config parameter for configure? Regards...
