Hi, I'm having trouble getting cddb info via a proxy. I'm using grip 3.2.0 on Ubuntu 4.10. I've tried the debian version of grip, and I've tried compiling my own version with the same results. The status window says that it's querying freedb.freedb.org through the proxy I've set. However if I check the logs of the proxy, grip has made no attempt to actually send the query. If I connect directly to the Internet, grip cddb queries work without any problems. When running grip 3.0.5 on mandrake 9.1 on the same machine, cddb queries work fine through the same proxy. Both Sound Juicer and ripperX are able to send cddb queries successfully via the same proxy when running on Ubuntu 4.10. Any ideas on how to get grip to send cddb queries via a proxy on Ubuntu would be appreciated. Find local movie times and trailers on Yahoo!
