No audio when playing CDs

    Brand newGrip user here...  I just installed the latest version from the EdgyUbuntu repo.   It seems to rip and encode mp3s OK--but I get no soundwhen I try and play a CD.   The counters are moving--but there is noaudio.

I checked the volume slider (based on a suggestion I found somewhereelse), but it's up full.    I've even played with my alsa-mixeroptions, to no avail.  ALL of my other audio players work fine, so I'mstumped!    I can't find any audio config options in Grip--but maybeI'm not looking in the correct place??
