hi michael,
i dont know where the target write is headed.
i get my .wav file created from the rip, i see it wants to do the write of
the mp3, but i am not seeing where is that target?
i see that ~/ogg is there and the writes for the .wav files are going fine.
i am sole user on this box, but i have root.
do you have a clue where the write is trying to happen?
that is, if the rip can write the .wav,
why would lame have a problem trying to write to the same location?
at the moment i am trying to use strace, but its not pointing out the
failure location yet...
tia, jackc...
