Hi, Can you encode in any other format? I am not sure if this will fix your problem but read on. I just happened to encode in mp3 format for the first time yesterday using grip and I did not use toolame. I used lame. I just installed lame (and any depending packages aptitude suggested - am using Debian), configured grip to use the /usr/bin/lame executable and everything worked fine. A quick search engine result for toolame says that its an mp2 encoder. Is this the encoding you want? I hope this helps. D Benjamin Grant <[email protected]> wrote: I'm trying to use grip to rip cds.
