Re: grip doesn't play CD

Thanks a lot for your warmly help.

You are right, the root cause that the CD can't be heard is that the
audio connector of the CD drive doesn't connect.
I double checked my machines today and found out that the CD drives of
both of  my Ubuntu machine and Solaris machine don't have the audio
connectors.
Then I tried to find an old machine with Ubuntu installed, the CD can be
heard using grip now.

However there's another issue. The CD drives of many new machines don't
have the audio connector, which seems to be a trend. So they won't use
grip to hear CD, what's a pity!
Does grip have a plan to support the CD drive that doesn't have the
audio connector?
