Questions on how to play mp3 files.

I have Grip 3.3.1 running under Kubuntu Hardy Heron.
My music directory is in the form of
/home/user/Music/artist/name/track - file.mp3.

How can I get Grip to recognize where the .mp3 files live?
Does it scan a directory to pick up all the .mp3 files
or does it require all the .mp3 files to be in a single directory?
