Hi Jim,

I don't deal with Windows builds and guiplayer, but just try to be 
helpful and wonder if this is simply because appropriate plugins were 
not build/found.

Try Ribosome menu 1 to "Set Target(s)" and then typing in:
guiplayer helix_client_objs

and make sure that this appears:
[1] Set Target(s) (guiplayer helix_client_objs)

This will build both the above targets at once and with luck, your 
problems are solved.


You can also try typing in targets:
guiplayer all_wm_plugins

[1] Set Target(s) (guiplayer all_wm_plugins)

and check if guiplayer can find the WM plugins and codecs.

If the above don't work, it is possible that the plugins are not in the 
right place, or it can be some other problems that I have no clue of.
