Hi, Can anyone summarize what level of support there is now, or is planned, for the helix and commercial players? I'd experimenting with live streams via http, and this mux lends itself well to this (minus extra payload overhead mixed with TCP, but this is balanced by suitability for simul UDP delivery). One can already pipe mpeg2-ts bitstreams through http using various encoding solutions, and play with VLC. I have not been able to do this with real-player 11 however. As for codecs I'm testing h264 (can be opened as a file using ffdshow). I've tried AVI but the commercail player at least cannot demux and render this. Thoughts?
