Unfortunately, I have all of those in my .buildrc.

Well, that is strange. You can either play with it and find
out what is wrong or just:

cd /tmp
cvs -d :ext:[email protected]:/cvsroot/client-restricted co
build/BIF
cd build/bif
cp * ~/ribosome/build/bif-cvs/client-restrictec/build/BIF

or something close to that.

I tried that and got this error:

C:\tmp>cvs -d

co build/BIF
[email protected]'s password:

Any thoughts?

Well, that might be your problem, some configuration with the Helix
CVS servers. It could also be on your end, as CVS should not ask for
a password. Did you set up your ~/.ssh directory with your SSH key?
Does CSV ask for your password in other cases?

Do you have "CVS_RSH=ssh" in your environment?

You might want to send email to [email protected] and see
if they can check your account out to make sure there are no
problems.

I have an .ssh directory, but I don't know if it contains my SSH key.
I'll
have to check into that. And yes, I do have CVS_RSH=ssh in my environment.
I'll send out some more e-mails and see what I can dig up.
Thanks,

Does CSV ask for your password in other cases?

Do you have "CVS_RSH=ssh" in your environment?

You might want to send email to [email protected] and see
if they can check your account out to make sure there are no
problems.
