Hi Sreerenj, I was on vacation. Please include a Helix mailing list when sending queries. It would enable more people to answer your query within their expertise. I'm not quite the person to ask the question in your email. When you refer to RealTime, you might confusingly associate it with a past RealNetwork product (a news reader and a screensaver), which wasn't a player. Could it be that you mean live playback? Helix client is catered for the functionality you mentioned. Helix client doesn't include its own UI, so it is up to you to develop a custom UI. You can use hxclientkit too, which provides a simpler programming API to Helix client. (Note: When we say Helix client, we refer to the core modules in a client player -- without GUI. When we say Helix Player or RealPlayer, we mean Helix client + GUI.) -- Daniel Yek.
