Hi All,
I've ported Helix DNA Client onto ARM9E with linux running on it. I've
integrated Helix DNA client to qt-extended using
helix-client-src-cayenne-qtopia-4.3.0.tar.gz. When I tried MP3 playback
using the splay application, the audio is played with noise and the audio
playback is not at constant rate. splay application alone uses around 86 %
of cpu. I tried dumping the output of the decoder and there is no problem
with the output pcm. Even without mp3 decoding, splay application takes
around 60 % of cpu, for parsing and rendering.
The processor I use runs at 160 MHz.
Has anyone faced the such problem in the past?
Is there any problem with respect to the MIPS consumed by the splay
application?
Any input on this regard would be of great help.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
San
