There is no formal definition that I know of for these formats. These extensions are usually given to raw file formats which don't have any header information. Therefore the necessary header information is communicated out-of-band. For instance, the sample rate, bits per sample, and number of channels are usually included in the file name or some external text file.

So absent a formal definition, we don't have support for these formats.
